We had our stove hand delivered to our cottage on west hawk lake Manitoba. All these years laters we are still super happy with our decision to purchase. Actually time to buy another one for our place in BC.
Canadian Sauna culture needs more of this. Well made products for affordable prices all made domestically will lead to more people building their own hot room.
Personally I had a bit of Eureka moment when I found this stove while building on a budget. But, truly I'd take this stove over any competitor (who also charge 2-4 times more). It heats my 7'x8'x8.5' quickly and efficiently.
Having it built in Winnipeg is a major bonus.
I think Gerhard has found himself a gap in the market to fill.

My large 8'×12'×8.5' (815 cu. ft.) sauna heats effortlessly. The service and shipping were excellent, and everything arrived carefully packaged. The design is clearly well thought out, and it took about five milk crates of rocks to fill. Even at 2,000 m elevation here in British Columbia, the heater performs beautifully. I couldn’t be happier with the result.
I’m on my sixth season with this stove, and I’m still impressed every winter. It reliably heats my 10 ft x 8 ft barrel sauna in all temperatures, even down to -30°C, it makes excellent steam. It’s easy to use and feels very well built. The whole family loves the sauna, and this stove is truly the heart of it.
